In late January NYC area had a massive snow storm followed by weeks of below freezing weather often with windchills making it negative degrees out and snowfall every weekend after the initial snow. I noticed that in my regular journal, not art journal, I had space left on the page after some of my entries. So, I glued down random pieces of paper that I had in those spaces and got to work!

I’m redesigning my home office setup and want to build an adjustable desk that can move smoothly between sitting and standing heights. I’ve seen a few DIY guides using https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/collections/lifting-column-sets  linear actuators, but since this is going to be a full-size desk with monitors and equipment on top, I want something that feels smooth and stable over time. I’ve heard people mention lifting column sets, but I’m not entirely sure how they differ from regular actuators when it comes to load support and stability.
