Butterfly! Sometimes I try to find shapes in the random swirls

Since I didn’t like my original creation, I added pencil shading across and doodled on top of that! You can still see the different layers. It’s all about enjoying the process and learning!

Not really my go-to but my mind needed clearing & here's what spilled out.
Trying a full page doodle for the first time.

Let your creative energy run free! Express yourself and grow in new ways! Go you! Imagination is your only limitation.

A quick little ACEO doodle

So I’m not sure if this counts, but I wanted to challenge myself by using only ink and pen without sketching or using a pencil. I started drawing the TV and, little by little, started to fill the page up. Imagining what it would look like sitting at night. So, I’m happy it turned out great!

Whenever I can’t think of what to draw, I always find myself coming back to this scene. Sometimes it’s a quick doodle, other times, I spend a little more time on it. Sometimes it’s colored pencils, markers, watercolor, or whatever medium I feel like picking up.
I’ve probably drawn this place hundreds of times throughout my life, but this is my first time sharing it. It’s been interesting to “mindlessly” sketch the same place over and over and see how different it can be each time.
It doesn’t exist anywhere in the real world, but it’s always existed in my mind. And no matter how many times I revisit it, it’s still a nice place to get away to for a while :)
About not being productive when you are wanting to create beautiful art.
Art is productive.
Your laundry can wait.
Imagine your pet spending an entire afternoon in their blanket throne. They eat, nap, stretch and watch every detail of their world quietly. Do they need to justify their afternoon? Do they need to clean up after themselves, organize the pantry, or accomplish three meaningful tasks before they’re entitled to a nap?
Of course not. They are living creatures who need rest, comfort,
stimulation and pleasure. You are too!
Anytime I’m working on inking a finished piece of work, I do these line variation exercises just to warm up my brush and get loose, so naturally that’s what Ive chosen as my “doodle”. I used the Pentel Aquash Water Brush (medium), dipped in sumi ink, a little colored pencil, and the Pentel 0.5 point liner for my tick marks. #penteldoodle

This is mine! It was awesome to doodle freely and randomly with zero purpose or judgement. So freeing. I used a Pointliner 0.05, forget how nice it is to endlessly crosshatch. I can’t wait to see yours!

Flowers. This was so fun.

Love this Theresa! My son says it's beautiful too BTW. I absolutely love the background grid!😍

Beautiful! Great job with colors and shading affects. Keep doing pretty doodling!!
Sometimes a little doodle says more than a thousand words. ✏️💕 No rules, no perfection, just a pen, some creativity, and a little chaos on paper. Because even the smallest scribble deserves its moment! 🎨✨ So this one is mine. 😁
Doodling helps me remember that my mind can & will continue to create reflections of happiness & hope. Reality bombards with heavy injustice & uncertainty. Doodling keeps me sane.🧘♀️

WOWSER! This is awesome. I'm in awe of the incredible doodle you shared. I've only been doing doodling for almost a year but still learning about the shading affect. I've been using mostly metallic and glitter pens but now I'm going to try the alcohol markers since I have two sets. Does anyone know a link for info on how to get the affect like on your doodle. I need some help. Again. This doodle is BEAUTIFUL

Such a bright and beautiful doodle, Jennifer!☀️I love the thick, bold, wavy lines 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thanks for sharing!🥰

So many delightful surprises in your doodle, Jillian! Did you use both markers and colored pencils? Love all the patterns🙌😍 Thanks for sharing!

Learned so much from this week’s doodling class with Jenny Lee! Used my EnerGel pens to make this artwork!
Congratulations! You are our week 1 winner. Please check your email for next steps to redeem your prize. Thank you for participating!

Love this composition and the patterns you used! My favorite thing about your art is how you make art creation so easily accessible for everyone by: a) encouraging use of diverse tools/materials, b) teaching easy patterns that have a big visual impact when finished, and c) allowing for a lot of creative variability (no expectations for perfection or accuracy). Thank you for all you do!
Thanks for the inspiring workshop @Jenny and @chris! It’s good to remember to breathe, be in the moment, and allow the shapes to flow. I’m beginning to add some more fluid zen inspired areas with my figure drawings. #PentelDoodle2026

So cool you 3D printed your pen cases!! Such a great way to organize everything!

This is my favorite meditative doodle as I had no idea what the end results would be. Just had fun with shapes, designs, d

ifferent mediums... and voila.
I love the whimsy and colors you have put together! It looks as if it is ready to start narrarating a fairytale.
