Hi there! I’m Meg and I wanted to introduce myself as your Creative Moderator for this group! I am excited to be here! (=^･ω･^=)

Some of you might recognize me from my time at Artsnacks, doing art livestreams and hosting the ink challenge for 2023, or maybe you know me from social media (toxic.moxie) or maybe we are meeting for the first time here. Either way, hello! I am happy to meet you and be here to support your creativity!

I like to create art in a lot of different ways: digital illustrations in Procreate, doodles and illustrations using pen, ink wash, and sometimes watercolor or acrylic paint markers, and I also make paintings on wood cut outs that I cut and sand myself. If I am being honest, I just create in whatever way feels inspirational at the time, and I am always open to trying new supplies and methods!

I love creating cute and whimsical characters and environments for them to live in. My biggest inspirations are Studio Ghibli, D&D, Adventure Time, and 80s movies (my favorites being The Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth). And of course, I can’t forget my three muses: my cats Poppy, Thistle, and Mr. Mistoffalees! If you know me, you know I draw a LOT of cats!

So that’s a little bit about me! I can’t wait to meet all of you, and see all of the awesome things you are creating.

To get to know all of you a little better, I have a question for you, if you want to share.

What is your favorite media to create with? And what is your favorite color?

Mine is probably ink! (but it’s so hard to choose, haha) And my favorite color is the deep green of an evergreen forest. (but I love all greens, honestly!)
