Hi there! I’m Meg and I wanted to introduce myself as your Creative Moderator for this group! I am excited to be here! (=^･ω･^=)

Some of you might recognize me from my time at Artsnacks, doing art livestreams and hosting the ink challenge for 2023, or maybe you know me from social media (toxic.moxie) or maybe we are meeting for the first time here. Either way, hello! I am happy to meet you and be here to support your creativity!

I like to create art in a lot of different ways: digital illustrations in Procreate, doodles and illustrations using pen, ink wash, and sometimes watercolor or acrylic paint markers, and I also make paintings on wood cut outs that I cut and sand myself. My name is Gilbert Perez. I'm from San Antonio Texas. I’m a huge fan of Pentel and love their products. I use a Pentel Graphgear 1000 07 mechanical pencils with 2B and HB lead on nearly every piece of artwork that I do. I use them to sketch out my concepts on my artist cards that I do for TOPPs, Upper Deck Entertainment, and Cryptozoic. I also use them on every and any original piece of artwork that I do for comic book covers and sketch covers. I’m always open to trying out new gear and have started tagging and hash tagging Pentel in my newer posts on social media. Love PENTEL!!

My buddy Meesey got me onto the 8 Color Mechanical Pencil, has anyone else played with this? Super fun for sketching.
