Heard about “junk journaling” from my wife. Curious who’s doing this and how they get started? Share some of your tips and examples to the group and let’s get Junky…lol

To create this page, I used the Pentel Arts landscape starter kit, the milky brush pen in white and the color brush pigment ink pen in black… Along with ephemera from the shipping, including the little orange label with my initials on it, which was on the outside of the bubble mailer it came in! Even though this is a landscape pack, anything can be a landscape… So I drew the landscape of the scrub jay nestlings I am currently hand feeding. I also included a part of one of their feathers that came off today!

this is in my current art journal, which is the bottom, half of a book on thermodynamics that I cut apart with a hacksaw to make interesting shapes. I’ve already completed the art journal in the top half of the book so you can see some equations peeking through the pink magazine paper collage.
