Hello everyone... new here. I wanted to ask, when coloring what inspires you to make the color choices you make? Do you stay within the normal colors things are supposed to be or do you just go with what you feel at the moment?

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I want things to be the “right” colors but other times it’s fun to just be crazy with it. I was working at a school and they gave the kids coloring pages of Pikachu, who is almost entirely yellow — boring! So I colored my Pikachu to look like the Joker from Batman. Gave him green ears, a white face with red lips, a purple suit, etc. All the kids loved it and then wanted to make their Pikachu’s different.
